Donna Ching, Class of 1984

Williams receives more than its share of great students from Hawaii, and this year’s Copeland Award winner has been the prime mover behind our success. Her boundless enthusiasm for Williams and her overwhelming power of persuasion have earned her reputation in the Admission Office as “The Kamaaina Closer.”  If any admitted Hawaiian student is on the fence about whether to attend Williams or some other top university or college, she gets right to work.  It’s usually no contest. On top of her peerless admission work, she has served as Alumni Fund Associate Agent, 25th Reunion “Re-connect” Chair, Regional Secretary, and on the Executive Committee of the Society of Alumni. Her tireless work on behalf of the College makes her an ideal choice for the Copeland Award.  We proudly honor the outstanding performance, loyalty and service of this year’s Copeland Award winner Donna Ching ’84.
