Cora Yang, Class of 1980

Today’s recipient is the quintessential admission liaison. Her contributions go above and beyond the call of duty. She has been San Francisco’s regional admission chair for more than a decade and was an active and effective admission rep long before that. She also has served Williams on the Regional Executive Committee, as book awards coordinator, and in countless ways as an “alum extraordinaire.”  With grace, smiles, and boundless energy, she meets with prospective students, accepted students and matriculating students, hosts events, and attends college fairs. Once she even pinch-hit for the Admission Director when he was in town but struck down by flu. We are grateful for her service to the Williams admission team and for her amazing ability to help matriculate outstanding Williams students from the San Francisco Bay region. We proudly honor the outstanding performance, loyalty and service of this year’s Copeland Award winner Cora Yang ’80.
